Contribuiți la feedbackI moved to Atlanta (Brookhaven, actually), in 2015, and this was one of the first places I came to shop at Super H Mart. At that time, there were Super H Mart, with its own food court, and a few restaurants open at Peachtree Pavilion, and that was all. I wondered at that time if this center would ever have other businesses open up, and if the second level would even have any businesses opening up.Cut to the present ...I 'm very amazed with the number of varied businesses that have opened their doors at Peachtree Pavilion, and sad to know that other businesses have opened and closed their doors for good.Peachtree Pavilion has a very large free parking lot. Pre pandemic, there were many times when this parking lot was actually full, and customers of PP were parking at the even larger parking lot at BrandsMart USA. H Mart is the most popular business here and two of the most popular restaurants occupy the two opposite ends of PP. The majority of the business spaces are currently either occupied or soon will be occupied, which is so much better now than in 2015 when occupancy was very low. You won 't find regular hamburger or pizza joints here, nor will you find high end, fancy and ultra expensive restaurants. Most of the restaurants and other places that sell food and/or beverages here are Asian, and most of the other businesses mostly cater to Asians. I 'm not sure what the effects will be when the neighboring Assembly area finally gets developed/built, but I hope they 'll be minimal. It seems like every time I come to Peachtree Pavilion, a new business has just joined the list of established businesses. Nice!
For years now, Peachtree Pavilion has been lively and thriving. The occupancy level is consistently high, and businesses are doing well. However, it wasn't always this busy. I recall around 2010 when the shopping center primarily featured H Mart (then known as Super H Mart) and Shoya Izakaya. Built between 2008 and 2009, it only truly began to flourish in the mid-2010s, resulting in some establishments becoming Atlanta staples while others have come and gone. Here are some highlights from Peachtree Pavilion. You can check out my complete reviews on each by visiting their Yelp pages: - **Shoya Izakaya**: A classic choice for diverse Japanese cuisine, including sushi. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/shoya-izakaya) - **Yebisuya**: Situated next to Shoya, this sister restaurant offers solid ramen options. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/yebisuya) - **Kura Revolving Sushi Bar**: My wife and I enjoy this affordable sushi spot, though it does receive criticism from sushi aficionados. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/kura-revolving-sushi-bar) - **J Bistro**: This restaurant is known to be the former China Inn in Chamblee, a favorite among the Chinese/Taiwanese community before rebranding to Liu Fu in Johns Creek. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/j-bistro) - **Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle**: Specializing in Yunnan-style rice noodle soups, and previously known as Qing Shu Malatang. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/ten-seconds-yunnan-rice-noodle) - **Sweet Spot**: Unique for its Hong Kong-style food, desserts, and drinks. Definitely worth a visit. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/sweet-spot) - **Meet Fresh**: A popular Taiwanese chain known for its dessert soups, puddings, shaved ice, and bubble tea. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/meet-fresh) - **Tea Top**: Arguably the best and most reliable spot for bubble tea in Atlanta. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/tea-top) - **Crazy Skewer**: Specializes in traditional Chinese skewers and kabobs. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/crazy-skewer) - **H Mart**: One of Atlanta's top Asian grocery stores; I particularly like their peeled garlic and instant ramen. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/h-mart) - **Harue Korean Chicken Snack Bar**: Offers tasty Korean fried chicken and snacks like gimbap and tteokbokki. While it may not be the best, it's still quite good. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/harue-korean-chicken) - **Cafe Petit Four**: An Asian bakery and cafe that I believe is Korean/Korean American operated, previously known as Hansel Gretel and Tree Story. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/cafe-petit-four) - **Big Dave's Cheesesteaks**: Offers some of the best cheesesteaks in town alongside great wings, although service can be inconsistent. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/big-daves-cheesesteaks) - **Conch Heaven**: A place for delicious Caribbean cuisine, particularly Bahamian dishes. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/conch-heaven) - **Snackboxe Bistro**: The leading Laotian restaurant in Atlanta, serving delightful dishes. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/snackboxe-bistro) - **Miss Gogi**: Known for outstanding Korean barbecue, it's one of the top spots for KBBQ in the area. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/miss-gogi) - **4.0 Ice Cream Drinks**: With competitors like Tea Top, Meet Fresh, and Sweet Spot nearby, it's interesting to see how this Chinese/Taiwanese drink and dessert cafe fares on the second level. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/4-0-ice-cream-drinks) - **MICS Karaoke**: A fun karaoke spot recognized for its extravagant design, including a Hello Kitty room. You can view their lively atmosphere on their Instagram. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/mics-karaoke) - **Red Fox Billiards Club**: A newer, spacious pool hall that offers a great environment for playing pool. [Yelp](yelp.com/biz/red-fox-billiards-club) In summary, Peachtree Pavilion is definitely worth exploring for anyone interested in enjoying a variety of Asian flavors and experiences.
This shopping center is fantastic, featuring Super H Mart along with several excellent stores and restaurants. It's located at the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Blvd and I-285. The place is spacious and offers plenty of free parking. I strongly recommend visiting, as there are some wonderful dining options available. Additionally, you'll find beauty salons, karaoke, billiards, and various other services. Super H Mart is truly impressive, complete with a must-visit food court! I also highly recommend checking out Sweet Spot.
However, on June 2, we started receiving notifications and texts from Brands Mart informing us that our refrigerator was being shipped and would arrive between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. This delivery did not happen. After reaching out to Brands Mart, we were told by the dispatcher that our model was actually on back order, and we would face a wait of about a month and a half for delivery! After multiple calls and no resolution through customer service, we were directed back to the appliance sales department, where we connected with Strawder Cooper. We explained the situation to Mr. Cooper, who listened attentively to our concerns and promised to look into it and get back to us soon. Not only did Mr. Cooper take action, but he also drove to the distribution warehouse in Ellenwood, GA, located our refrigerator, and called us back with a new delivery date. Although our refrigerator arrived 30 days late, I truly believe that without Mr. Cooper's intervention, we might have waited much longer. Mr. Cooper is a rare find in 2021—someone who genuinely listens to the concerns of a dissatisfied customer and takes personal responsibility to resolve the issue, even going 30 miles out of his way to ensure the appliance was delivered properly. He has set a high standard for sales personnel and customer service at Brands Mart and in all service-oriented businesses. Ensuring customer satisfaction and follow-through after the sale should be the goal of every business, and it starts with dedicated individuals like Mr. Cooper.
