Le Djerba - Doornik

With a welcoming atmosphere and a typical Tunisian ambiance, this restaurant unfortunately falls short in terms of space and customer service. The couscous is tasty but often too salty, and the portions of meat in the royal couscous can vary from plate to plate. The service leaves something to be desired, especially if they are understaffed or behind schedule, leading to long wait times. It is better to visit on weekdays rather than weekends. If you want to take home leftovers, be sure to ask for a plastic bag. The traditional glass of tea offered at the end of the meal is a nice touch, and the boss may smile even if there were some issues during the meal. Remember, the customer is always king.

We were warmly welcomed in a lovely setting, as is common in this type of restaurant. The cuisine at Djerba is decent but not particularly unique. Their tajine and couscous dishes are acceptable, although there are better options available elsewhere.

As often in this type of restaurant, we are well received in a pleasant setting! the djerba offers a correct kitchen, without originality their tajina couscous are acceptable but without mentioning it is much better elsewhere!
