Cafe Townhouse - Doneraile

Great lunch and tea. One of the best lunches we had in Ireland. Soups, sandwiches and salads were all excellent. The desert choice was superb as was the tea and coffee. The place was busy on a Tuesday with locals which says a lot. Lovely garden area in back made for a great atmosphere.

We had flat white hubby had the best hot chocolate he ever had here. It was full of gorgeous marshmallows the apple pie was delicious. It was packed with lovely diners and the salads brought from the kitchen to other diners looked very appetising.

Thank you to Staff of Townhouse Cafe Doneraile for a fabulous pre wedding luncheon with the bride Shannon, we found the food amazing and service outstanding . Sisters in laws to be from kinsale were very impressed It was the most relaxing venue and would highly recommend it.

My wife and I stepped off Main Street Doneraile into another world when we visited Townhouse Cafe recently. It 's a step back in time with the decor and the music softly playing the soundtrack of a bygone era. Your eyes are drawn around the dining room to so many seemingly randomly timepieces, but each are obviously carefully selected. The breakfast was divine. We opted for a warm scone and a natural yogurt, fruit and granola dish. There are hot food options available also. My favourite menu was the guilt free dessert all day option which certainly did not disappoint for afters. There is a lovely outdoor seating area, again tastefully decorated and enclosed by the high estate walls of Doneraile Park, into which you can step directly from the garden which is so convenient. Both the Park and the Cafe are so worth a visit and I look forward to going back sooner rather than later. Highly recommended!

Step into a eclectic vintage dream, at Café Townhouse in the heart of Doneraile, North Co. Cork. It really is a treat for all the senses. Warm and kind staff, delicious food, all set in the glamour of a bygone Parisian salon, yet with the cosiness and relaxed atmosphere of home. We sank into lush armchairs and never wanted to leave! Will be back for midday catch ups and have my eye on the stunning events parlor for a special occasion. A real find! Thank you so much for treating us so well, we felt ruely spoilt!
