Toby Carvery Edenthorpe - Doncaster

There were very few customers when I visited. The starter, a prawn cocktail, was disappointing—just lettuce and prawns, and the sauce was not good. There was no cucumber or tomato! The carvery was mostly cold. This restaurant has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and had just reopened the night before. What went wrong?

As you would typically expect from a buffet restaurant, the food was pleasant but nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, they had run out of pork and meat gravy, which was disappointing.

We frequently choose Toby Carvery because it offers easy booking, quick table service, and drinks served within minutes of our arrival. The selection of carvery food is delicious, and the waitstaff is attentive and friendly. The ambiance is enjoyable, and overall, it's a great value for the money.

Special occasion was a 101st birthday.! value for money carvery was excellent and service(Angela)was also excellent. Location and availability suited our requirements perfectly and would have no hesitation in recommending this venue.
