The Old Weighing Room - Doncaster

A group of ten of us made a reservation to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we received a call on the day of our booking, informing us that the boiler had broken and the restaurant would not be able to open. However, they went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was not ruined. They moved us to a private dining room at the nearby Hilton hotel, where the chef, waitstaff, and menus were all transferred. Essentially, we had the same experience in a different setting. The menu had a variety of delicious options and every dish was beautifully presented. The staff were extremely attentive and paid close attention to every detail. I am grateful to the staff for ensuring that my birthday celebration continued without a hitch and for making it a great evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I went to The Old Weighing last night and it is truly a hidden gem! The new Summer Menu offers a wide selection of delicious dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of fantastic food in a wonderful setting.

This is a stunning restaurant, with a great ambience true to the building's history. The quality of food was exceptional served by very good attentive Waiting Staff. They have a excellent bar used for pre post meal drinks. Definitely will visit this restaurant again....I will recommend to my family friends

Unusual level of food for the Doncaster area. Went there a few years ago when it opened and the menu is still high standard. Warm welcome from the staff

We only had time ofr a few drinks here but we looked at the menu and its a very impressive offering and would be a great special occasion destination.Our drinks were served promptly and all the wait staff were pleasant and polite
