Contribuiți la feedbackThe staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly, but the service was a bit slow. The starter was disappointing as it lacked flavor, although it did arrive quickly. The steaks were all good, but our plates were left on the table for too long. Overall, the experience was decent but could have been better. The toilets were accessible, but the steps leading to them were very steep.
We made a reservation for the early dinner menu, which offers great value. The dishes we ordered were decent, though some of them seemed to be mass-produced, which is to be expected from a Miller and Carter restaurant.
The meal at this restaurant was incredible, with exceptional service! The rare treat special was amazing. Alexis was an outstanding server, providing great assistance, menu knowledge, and a friendly demeanor.
The food and service were excellent, couldn't fault it. I've knocked one star off due to the napkins. In a high end restaurant you'd expect linens not cheap napkins like what you'd find in a high street cafe. Steak is notorious for having fat drip. I don't think those napkins protect diners clothes enough.
Having been to Miller and carter for Christmas lunch previously and everything was excellent. How ever christmas lunch on 25/12/23 fell well below what we experienced this time. The starters King Prawns feel should have had little more garnish with it. Also pealing the prawns was messy and finger bowls on would have been good. The main cause, the turkey wasn't great and I didn't feel it was had carved. The roast potatoes where very similar looking to Aunt Bessie, and the veg, some people got all the veg others had some missing. And then gravy was poured onto the turkey. The sweets were too sweet.
