The Garden Of Nang - Don Det

I wanted to give 5 stars, because I was all about supporting a whole vegan caffe, but cmon. 2 plus hours waiting! that seems almost impossible, they really need to cut some time out of their schedule if they want to eat here. eating was refreshing in comparison with everything we had in laos, and the dame that works was so sweet! we will not come back as it is quite out of the way and good. I just don't have the time! haha

We went and the owner told us that she couldn't cook because she was sick. the next day it was okay, but she could only cook some dishes. no many decisions. so do not expect too much. the menu has changed (we have downloaded it) it is really a slow eating concept, so only to go there when they have time. we ordered at 11:40 and had to wait more than 1h30 and the owner had to prepare only 5 smoothies and our 2 dishes. but eating was amazing. it feels good to eat sweet with aromen!

No one was in the last days during the opening hours

We went there in the anticipation of the great vegan foods, but unfortunately no food was served this day, and no coffee. and they did not want to prepare for the next days. three stars bc of smoothie was delicious.

Went there around 1PM, hungry after travelling to the island from Pakse and looking forward to a fully vegan restaurant in Laos! Unfortunately upon arrival I was told that they didn't serve food that day as the owner didn't go to the marketWhen I asked about the upcoming days the lady just said no no so I left and opted for Jasmine instead and ate there throughout my stay on Don Det. I mean I totally understand the concept of living on an island and being dependent on someone that goes to the local market everyday but it still was a bit of a letdown
