Taco Taco Spot - Dolton

I've visited this restaurant several times since I discovered it, and overall, I've been quite satisfied. My usual order is the steak tacos, which are excellent. I also enjoy the shrimp tacos. I've tried both steak and shrimp elotes for the first time, and I was very impressed—they were delicious. However, I felt that both the tamales and the enchiladas could have benefited from more salsa; they were flavorful but a little dry without enough green salsa. I tried the birria for the first time, hoping to be as pleased as I had been on previous visits, but I was somewhat disappointed. While they were edible, they were quite thick (not that I'm complaining about the portion size) and didn't have the flavor I expected. I ordered the dinner but could only finish one taco. As for the beans that came with the meal, I found them to be quite undesirable; last night, they even tasted sour. I would definitely pass on the refried beans next time. On the whole, the food is worth the price, the portions are generous, and the staff is very friendly. I would certainly recommend this place!

Got the Birria Quesadilla, and a few days later I referred a friend and they got Birria tacos.I thought I got a bad batch at first but the consomme was very salty for mine and then again for my friend when she came with me ??‍Even for me I usually put too much salt on my food and that sauce was borderline bearable. To make matters worse when I referred my friend she got a Birria taco dinner and one of her tacos had a hair/lint hanging from the bottom of her second taco and she lost her appetite.*No restaurant is perfect I understand things happen, but if the quality of the sauce could be adjusted slightly (less salt) and the food preparation be a a little more tighty I definitely would come back.

This place has an overall feel of being at home cooking on food very comfortable in the food is very good I've recommended for anybody

The food was excellent, and I am very picky about my Mexican fare. The girl at the counter was super nice and made some great suggestions that im gonna go back and try. Loved it.
