Roots Cafe Deli - Dolphin Coast

I visited the restaurant twice for lunch. Both the burger and the Mexican bowl were delicious. The carrot cake was also amazing. The only downside was that the burger was better on the first day.

I have been eagerly anticipating my visit to Roots Cafe, as I have not been to South Africa since before Covid. I was thrilled to spend some time in Ballito and dine at Roots Cafe during my stay. The menu offers a variety of larger and smaller meals, snacks, desserts, and drinks. I tried the black rice vegetable stir fry with peanut sauce, and added extra chili on the side (it was spicy!). The dish was packed with different vegetables and had a delicious depth of flavor. I don't usually indulge in dessert, but their carrot cake was so amazing that I couldn't resist ordering a slice during each visit. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The menu is predominantly vegan, with a few items containing honey. If you are vegan, you will love this place, and it's a joy to support them with your dining dollars (or rand!).

The staff at this restaurant is fantastic, providing great service in a friendly atmosphere. The food is fresh and the coffee is light and smooth. The seating is plentiful, spacious, and comfortable. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of options to satisfy any appetite. Overall, a positive dining experience.

The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was charming. Additionally, they have an outdoor play area for children.

The staff is very friendly and the dining experience was absolutely incredible. Overall, it was a very positive experience!
