I always bring my own cup to take advantage of their discount and show my support for reducing single-use waste in Placer County. The cafe offers great prices and roasts their coffee in a state park just a mile away, which is a cool touch. It's a cozy, locally owned and operated cafe that I really enjoy.
I usually enjoy this restaurant, but today I had a terrible latte. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how bad it was until I was already driving away. It tasted like the last burnt and gritty cup of coffee from a percolator that had been left on all day.
