Contribuiți la feedbackMy go to whenever I am in Doha airport. The food is good and healthy but definitely expensive!
This place saved me! Great fresh options and good muffins. Updated from previous review on 2023-06-22
We had the chickpea sandwiches, a chocolate oat smoothie, and the Milky Blues bowl. We also got muffins to go. Everything was delicious! What a wonderful find in the Doha airport!
A fully vegan cafe at an airport?! This was so great to see. The food is not the most creative as far as vegan food goes and it's mostly health oriented (which may or may not be a good thing), but there's a nice little selection of pre packaged sandwiches, bowls, salads, and juices. I wanted to try something a little more special so I ordered the labaneh toast. It was good, but just keep in mind that it takes them 15 20 minutes to prepare food to order. I also got the chocolate torte, which I ate on the plane a few hours later by that point it was quite soft, so not really like a cake, but very chocolatey. I also had one of the Mylk chocolates which was fantastic (but pricey).
But the food is just average. Got a few items for a long haul flight so we tried a few stuff. Below listed from first to least favorite: Bean burrito: a bit spicy for a morning wrap but overall flavorful. Butternut squash toast: light and sweet, interesting mix. Tzatziki toast: lacked a proper filling, skip all together. Quinoa bowl with avocados/sweet potatoes: bland and lacked ingredients. Luckily I had a hummus which I mixed in to make it better. As for beverages, soy latte was good, coconut tasted strange. Had a hint of coconut oil flavor which I've never experienced in a latte before. For desserts we tried the ferrero truffle like ball which was too expensive for what it was. Should have had a cookie instead. Price wise it was typical Dubai kinda prices, which is pricey if compared to EU prices. All above items were for around 246 riyals which is for the quality. Also in the grab go section was a chickpea toast, 2 filled bagels, falafel wrap, soup, mini pizzas, pesto pasta salad and I think another bowl. They have 3 smoothie bowls and 3 open toasts: avocado, labneh and almond butter (be warned we were told these will take 20 minutes so we skipped them). Additionally had two muffins, cookies, truffle like chocolate and many snacks. Overall, a great airport option but I feel the food can be a hit or miss depending on what you order. Was surprised to see a lack of vegan protein options; nothing with tofu/meat alternatives, beans or even protein powder add on. And finally, expect a queue! Do not wait last minute as it can take a while to order.
