Aztlan Mexican Grill - Dodgeville

This restaurant closed two years ago, but they are still operating in Mount Horeb, which is 15 miles to the east.

We visit this restaurant frequently because the food is outstanding and the staff is incredibly friendly. The drinks are excellent as well. During COVID, they have implemented additional measures to ensure that patrons are spaced out properly. Overall, it's a wonderful dining experience with great food, attentive service, and lovely people.

The main dishes were excellent, but the guacamole was not fresh and tasted bland. The waitress was unwelcoming and appeared annoyed to have customers. I would consider returning only if there were no other options available.

The food was excellent, but the service was lacking. Refills were slow, and used plates and straw wrappers were left on the table despite being piled up. Additionally, two items we wanted to order were unavailable. It might have just been an off night for them.

I ordered from this restaurant and was told my order would take 15 minutes. However, it ended up taking 35 minutes. I had ordered a burrito blanco with beef tips, but they gave me ground beef instead. It was quite disappointing.
