Iron Skillet Express - Dodge City

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We opted for takeout and had breakfast items. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20. We highly recommend trying the Fried Chicken Fingers with Fries - it was a standout dish.

The Iron Skillet has permanently closed and been replaced by a sandwich bar. We are disappointed in TA/Petro for taking away our sit-down dining options and leaving us with Popcorn Popeye. We prefer to be served by friendly staff and enjoy a meal that feels like home during our breaks. We dislike fast food and value being waited on and having coffee poured in front of us. We miss the relaxing conversations and personal touch of dine-in restaurants. Please bring back our dining options.

I have dined at this restaurant twice and both times the food was served ice cold. I have eaten at many restaurants across the 48 states, and this was the worst experience I have had with iron skillets. The average price per person is $10-20.

Agree with other reviews, this is about as close as us truck drivers can get to a decent meal without ubering or walking a mile, but they do gouge us on the price. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
