El Bronco - Dixon

I ordered the carne asada plate, and I was very pleased with the quality of the food. The lettuce was fresh, the meat was tender, and the rice and beans tasted much better than anything you'd expect to find from a can. I will definitely return, though I can't say I'll visit too often since it's a bit of a drive from Fort Leonard Wood—about 25 minutes.

We had a large group of over 20 people come in for lunch, and I was impressed that all the meals were served together and hot. The staff was extremely accommodating, and the food exceeded my expectations.

This time, I came for lunch and ordered a special that was quite disappointing. The beans were unappetizing, and my chile relleno was topped with a red sauce that tasted like canned tomato sauce. The taco was simply unseasoned ground beef. My son ordered the rice and beans, but he didn't want to eat them because the rice was burnt, with actual charred pieces in it. To make matters worse, I kept feeling something on my arm—an ant! Then I noticed another one crawling on the table and one making its way into the salsa as we were getting up to leave. I definitely won't be returning.
