Whitehouse Bakery - Division No.

This bakery in Riding Mountain National Park clearly enjoys a lot of popularity, as I always see a long line whenever I visit. I recently had breakfast there, and I was pleased to find that the food was excellent. The baked goods were fresh and delicious, and the service was efficient and quick. So don’t let the line worry you—it moves quickly. The cinnamon buns are particularly popular and a must-try!

Once we were finally on the waiting list, we went outside with the other patrons. There were two tables ahead of us. Being a larger party, we were aware that there would be fewer seating options available. A table of four was seated first, followed by a party of two, and then finally us. When the next large table finished their meal, the staff seated the group of two at that table instead of accommodating us, even though another smaller table for two was about to become available. Consequently, we had to wait a considerable amount of time for another large table to open up while six other smaller groups were seated before us. It just doesn’t make sense to seat a party of two at a large table when there are three large tables available and plenty of smaller ones. In the end, we waited a full hour for a table despite only two groups being ahead of us. Unfortunately, the food was quite mediocre as well. They don't offer their own condiments; everything comes in individual packets. For example, we received just one small syrup packet for three large pancakes, and when we requested more, our request was denied.

Each time I visit Riding Mountain National Park, I make it a point to stop by Whitehouse Bakery for their incredible cinnamon buns! They are absolutely delicious and quite large! You can choose from maple, cream cheese, or the classic original flavor. You'll definitely find yourself coming back for more!

Had to stop here after hearing the rave about the cinnamon buns, and they did not disappoint! They are probably the best cinnamon buns I?ve ever had! The line up to get in was out the door and onto the street. The service was fast, organized and friendly. Great spot to pick up some baked goods!

A nice tradition continues. We had already stopped in earlier in the week for a cinnamon bun, London Fog, and a coffee. Our getaway day included dining in before hitting the road, as it has previously. We had two orders of the avocado chicken panini. So flavourful, but when paired with the side cream of potato and bacon soup or fries and it was simply too much delicious food. I think next time we will order just one of these and share, leaving more room for tasty desserts!
