Crafty Crab Seafood - DISTRICT HEIGHTS

I came from New York to enjoy Washington and was suggested to check out crafty crabs. We went in the hostess was rude her comment was ?we have a list and you can?t be seated? coming from New York the people of Washington was all friendly until I went to crafty crabs. The hostess at the counter for the take out offered us a menu so I order $134 dollar worth of food. So now I?m back at my hotel and open the bag here I saw a roach ???? in my food. I was not going to write

The shrimp boil was disappointing. The shrimp were overcooked, and I really don’t understand why they leave the heads on. The potatoes were nearly impossible to bite into, and I only got a tiny piece of corn. I reached out to the restaurant and spoke with a manager who told me I should have checked my order before leaving. The problem is that my son picked up the food, and who really does that? It feels unsanitary to have your food exposed around other people, especially in the context of Covid. The manager didn't offer to replace my order, which was frustrating.

Love going to this place. Be sure to order online so you can pick up your order. And always make sure that your order is correct before you leave. I went there today and forget to check my bag to get home and my sauce that was on the side was not there.

My son took me out for lunch, and I absolutely loved it! The service at this location is always fantastic, and we had an amazing waiter. Great job!

Great atmosphere, food was good. They need to work on their FIRE spice because it was nothing fire about it. Couldn't even feel the burn compared to their sister restaurant in Alexandria. But I will give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened. Other than than that the atmosphere is outstanding and they even have upstairs seating.
