Liver Cheese in Semmel and Schupfnudeln hmmmmmmmm.... He used to be so great, even in front of the castle gate. With many different stands and more visitors. Very bad.
The castle was beautifully restored and restored with a lot of effort, money and personal use, admiration for people who put so much heart blood in a project with the prospect that it will never be finished, with a few hundred years old mammals you are never finished. You have to pay admission is actually self-evident, you have to pay everywhere. It is also good that there are gastronomy throughout, even here respect, only with staff and accordingly costs. Food quality goes too, here is still air up, price performance is O.K. All in all worth a visit at any time, like again.

Beautiful castle here you have to go. The owners very nice and much to tell about the castle. Just brilliant were certainly not the last time here.
We made 2 nights here on a return trip from Switzerland and Austria station. That was our 14th. Burg in Germany, where you could stay and we felt very comfortable here. After our experience, however, you can't set up a ranking because each castle is individual. To the castle of Katzenstein we can say that the concept is universal.A small, well-maintained or renovated castle with a museum and many exhibits from the Middle Ages and a good sign of the tour and even a real treasure with an incredible story that the treasurer can tell to a person. Our room was very spacious and, due to the integration into the old castle walls, we have given the feeling of staying in an old castle. We found some things especially great. The dishes were all delicious and inexpensive. We have even dispensed with eating elsewhere, even because the athmosphere in the castle pots was so nice.In breakfast we found the rolls particularly delicious and the self-made jelly. The menu matched a rustic castle and the kitchen was open from 11 am to 7 pm. This was not very often on our castle tours. We will recommend the castle, unless we buy ourselves a ; .
