General Public - Dingley Village

This is an excellent venue for a family outing! The ten-pin bowling is a lot of fun, and the atmosphere is beautiful. The service is great, and my family and I are definitely planning to return. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5!

We hosted a party today and had a wonderful experience. The manager, Matthew, along with Aliza, was extremely friendly and organized everything efficiently and punctually.

Food and place 4/5 very happy with that.Service 1/5 extremely poor.We were supposed to have a dedicated host for my son's bday party we had on a Saturday afternoon. We were pretty much left on our own. Even with kids bowling, they were not given special bowling shoes, which is a very big safety hazard. There was no explanation or instructions to kids around do's and don'ts of bowling. We had to constantly remind staff to bring food, refill water jugs etc, they lost track of drinks tab and we had to pay an estimated figure.Perhaps look into your staff to customers ratio. You are actually putting your staff at risk of being overworked and potentially exposing them to injuries.I generally don't write reviews unless I have something positive to say; however, this needed to be said as a public service announcement.Suggestions 1. More staff. 2.Dedicated host means dedicated to one party or a couple of parties;3. Look into your health and safely standards.4. Consider bookings only or limit the venue to a few partys only rather than trying to serve unmanageable amounts of crowd.5 Lastly, please look after your staff!! Their health and wellbeing is your responsibility.

A great place to host a ‘Fun’tastic party! We had the SAB staff party at General Republic and what an amazing night of bowling, fun, laughter and hIgh-fives, complemented by great drinks food and brilliant service from Matthew and his team, Gabe, Adam, Ellana, Gabby and Dec. Thank you heaps for a wonderful and memorable evening guys, You Rock! We will be back

I’d like to extend my deepest thanks to you and the wonderful team at General Public, Dingley Village.Matt, Linda, Gabe, the kitchen/bar/wait staff were so welcoming, friendly, accommodating to our needs and so easy to make the day run so smoothly.The Y12 students had the best time and the food was so plentiful and delicious!!I’ll be making a note to come back next year
