We always make a stop at this shop whenever we're in Dillsboro. On the left, you'll find a charming old-fashioned counter and a classic soda fountain. They create their own ice cream here, offering a wide variety of treats from ice cream cones to banana splits. I decided to go with a Coke Float topped with vanilla ice cream, while my husband opted for a cone with several different scoops. I can't remember all the flavors he chose, but one of them was coffee, which I tasted and found absolutely delicious. The owners and staff are truly delightful, making us feel very welcomed during our visit. The main part of the shop is filled with antiques and tourist souvenirs, all at reasonable prices. There's also an upstairs section with even more treasures to explore. The soda fountain is a great place to leave your husband while you browse and shop, allowing him to enjoy his ice cream in peace.
