Chez Ali - Dijon

We arrived in Dijon quite late on a Sunday night, by the time we had booked into our Hotel (a whole other story) we were worried that we might not find a place to eat within walking distance. However we need not have worried, we found Chez Ali on google and we were very impressed with the staff and the food, whilst not a foodie and not being very familiar with Moroccan Cuisine I enjoyed my meal and I did not hear anyone complaining. The staff were super the ambiance excellent food good and prices reasonable.

We were there on a sunday evening the place was empty, we also just went there because we could not find anything else in the area open on sundays. I had Brik and salad the brik was no brik at all it looked and tasted like a burned crepe black on the outside, not crispy at all. The salad was ok, just pieces of tomato, olives and salad drizzled with a dressing from the bottle. No ham (as the menu said , but turkish/arab Sucuk. I understand that an arab restaurant will not serve porc, but there are many better alternatives to that very cheap sausage (turkey ham...... . My partner had Chicken tagine the only thing that reminded of a tagine was the dish it was served in. It was mostly chicken bones with a few olives and very little sauce. As he did not want the couscous it was served with, we asked for bread there was none!!!!

Excellent reception, service up! Thanks to ali, couscous was delicious, dessert succulent! I highly recommend. clean and comfortable. guaranteed relaxation and disbursement. I'll be right back.

As soon as you're in that little restaurant, we'd believe it. a decor like there, a music like there, a welcome like there and above all, a kitchen like there!!! go eat as there!!! thank you.

I was 2 x 1 times in January and 1x in February very good and mr ali is hot I just put a star in less for the card because there is no more to what I have understood of children's menu, but my children we love couscous anyway
