House Of Wong - Digby

My companions recommended this restaurant to me, and I was unsure at first. However, they were absolutely right. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. It may have been the best Chinese meal I have ever had. I ordered pork and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, spare ribs, and chicken fried rice. If you are unsure of what to order, I suggest getting what I had - you won't be disappointed.

It is hard to come across excellent Chinese cuisine in this area, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this meal to be the best in the valley zone.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and was impressed with the quick and attentive service. The food was delicious and the portions were generous for the price. My wife and I each ordered a combo plate for $15, along with an extra egg roll and a serving of ginger beef, which came to a total of $50 with tip. We had plenty of leftovers, which I brought home for a satisfying supper. I docked a star due to the dated décor, with stained tablecloths and an overall outdated interior.

The restaurant has excellent staff, a stunning view, and delicious food. We had dinner there and the price per person was CA$100. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5. We highly recommend trying the Sweet Sour Chicken and Egg Rolls.
