The Unterbräu is unmissable on the way to the ship's dock, a small car park is located right in front of the door. From 1856 to 1915 it was a brewery, therefore also the name. But today no beer is brewed. The beer garden is located in front of the house and at the side of the entrance. Here I enjoyed an excellent porkshaxe with dumplings and salad for 9,90 €. Even a feast for the dog, for nothing remains of the bone; During the second visit there was a quarter of peasants with apple cabbage and also super tasty dumplings for 8,90 €. Both dishes were extremely tasty and the crust/skin perfectly. As you can see at the dishes, the kitchen here is typical of the country, strong and super good. I had never eaten the pancake soup, because the pancake was fresh. Of course you can also get fresh fish from the Ammersee, because we are in the middle of a fish region. The toilets were clean and most impressed me here was Dyson's hand dryer – suitable for my vacuum cleaner : The hands are put in and cleaned dry from all sides in a few seconds. Although the waiter opened me unfriendly at the beginning of the room search on the terrace, we took place in the uncomfortable interior of the inn. The food was disappointing: the late pests tasted like cold from the pack, potatoes were from the day before, the pork roasts over all dimensions fat. The oxen breast floats in an indefinite and unworn broth, the grown vegetables tasted fine. The matjesfilet in cream sauce was also quite taste-neutral. Prices are salted. Next time we eat in another place.
We were five and had not reserved. The beer garden was well filled to our surprise and that in moderately beautiful weather and under the week. Hard to believe because we had previously read the menus in other places and there was plenty of space everywhere. So nothing but pure and the operation asked for a table. O.k. was stupid of me when everything is full to ask a table. The menu was like a book of Bavarian delicacies. Here they still have the good old roasts, pork, beef, veal and tongue, beef tongue in red wine sauce I was back and forth until I had to know that the tongue was out. Here is freshly cooked daily and what is out of it and tomorrow there is a new card that opened the waiter to me... I could have been crying since a Lord assured me that the tongue here in the summer is particularly good! Long speech short sense we have ordered 4 different things that I had Haxe... a dream .... the crust.... the meat a lot from the bone.... my fellow eater, fish fried, sausages and boiled ox meat.... all very delicious and very fast served, hot and cheap. I give the subcontractor the full score and wish the young cook success!
