Grotty restaurant, Staff wearing grubby clothes including trackie daks. Barely any food offered - had to ask. 3 pieces per plate so double order & $$$$$ for 4 people. Floor staff wandering around in a daze ignoring diners. Expensive...grimy ....poor service....left feeling violated & unfulfilled..Have been before but this a prime example when an old favourite becomes lazy and slack, genuine signs of DON'T CARE attitude. The thing is it is expensive and poor folk queue based on ancient history when it was good.

Whilst the decor of the restaurant lacks a bit of style, the food more than makes up for it. Friendly helpful staff and the food came out quite quickly. Fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the soft shell crab. Very reasonably priced!

On the weekends, the walk around with dim sum carts and a menu is also available. They have fresh seafood and lots of options. Worth a try, best so far Canberra!

I go fairly often because the yum cha is good. The evening dinner menu is also tasty but the service is not great. You can ask several times for something like water and never get it. But take the good with the bad I guess!

I had yum cha today with a large group. We were in a separate room and it felt like we were forgotten a lot of the time. There was very little proactive service. We had to ask for everything and anything. Even to the point of collecting the long-empty water jugs and taking them to the bar to get them refilled.Now I know it's Chinese New Year right now but if a restaurant doesn't have enough staff to make it at least a good experience for guests then they shouldn't accept a large group booking at this time.
