There were hardly any customers, so the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The waitress seemed unsure about the drink options and had to check several times. It was noon on a weekday, yet there was no soup available for the special. I waited over 40 minutes for a side salad and grilled chicken sandwich, which didn't even have all the listed ingredients. While the waitress was friendly, she was very slow and needed to be reminded about things multiple times.

This restaurant seems like a challenging place to work. Why else would the waitstaff and bartenders appear so unhappy? The service is quite poor, the bar is frequently unattended, and when you are finally served, you don’t receive a smile.

Food was terrible! Not worth the money! My salad was supposed to be a large one with some walnuts in it, with other items. It was at best on the small side, NO walnuts in it. It was mostly lettuce with a little bit of chicken. The restaurant was so COLD and my complaint went unheeded by the waitress. There was no one else seated in our area to voice a complaint on the frigid temp in there. This restaurant is close to travel hotels and walking distance. Please people, don't bother. Drive some where else!!!!!!

Food was horrible- what two northern boys THOUGHT cajun food might be, not at ALL based in genuine cajun food. Service was rude, forgot to seat us. When we were seated, it was next to two very large groups with screaming kids. TVs on in every corner, not at all a good restaurant environment. Horrible experience, food was gross and not even close to Cajun/Southern food. Do NOT bother with this restaurant.

I’ve had lunch there twice in the last three months and enjoyed it both times. I ordered a burger and a beer on both visits. My friend, who joined me today, is definitely planning to go back. The negative reviews from a couple of years ago were likely during the oil boom when the place was super busy and struggling to find staff. I’m being so positive because I'd love to return (though I live 100 miles away, so it’s not often), and I really hope previous bad reviews don’t lead to the restaurant closing down. I don’t understand the negative review from 5/18/17—it’s concerning. But I’m definitely going back!
