Samurai Japanese Cuisine - D'Iberville

First time eating here. It is a beautiful restaurant! Great atmosphere for date night! The menu was extensive and I can't wait to go back to try something new. It's just a shame the service we received was so bad. Our waitress was awful and actually forgot to enter my main course but my seafood soup and sashimi salad was delicious!

Let's start with the reason you're here the food. This location has a VERY large menu. Lots of variety to pick from. And of the ~30ish times we've been here, we've yet to have a bad dish. The service has always been on point. Recently, Dong in particular has been a regular server of ours and she is great. Attentive, accommodating, helpful, polite all the good points. Like the food, we have never had a bad Service experience. Atmosphere is also nice. As a whole, the location is always good. Bathrooms are clean, cleanliness as a whole is kept up, all good stuff. The music choice is my fav low piano covers of classics/hits. A nice choice, and played at just the right level. The last thing I wanna hit on, and this is primarily THE reason I'm posting this now (in addition to Dawn's great customer service you rock! is the menu. The menu has pictures. For just about every single food item they serve. Every plated fish, every sushi roll, every sashimi, every appetizer... you get the idea. To be able to read the ingredients and try to decide if you want it or not... to then be able to see a picture of the dish? SO many other restaurants need to offer this. Every dish, put in an HD color picture. It has sold me on dishes quite a few times. This Samurai is great. Love coming here, and will continue to!

The best sushi I’ve ever had. All of our food was amazing. The staff was great and attentive. The restaurant is very clean. Next time we’re back in town, we’ll definitely wave stopping there again!
