Cafe New Orleans Diberville

After reading a negative review of this restaurant, we almost decided not to go. This would have been a big mistake! The food was incredibly delicious, the service was excellent, and the portion sizes were very generous.

We ordered the Bourbon Street Gumbo and the Krewe of Ema, and both dishes were incredibly flavorful and delicious. The portion of Krewe of Ema was very generous. Be sure to visit this restaurant if you're in the area!

I will never return to this restaurant. We spent $181.00 on food that tasted absolutely terrible. No one could even eat their meal because it tasted like rancid grease. The atmosphere was dark, the food was soggy, and it was just plain disgusting. I advise against dining here to anyone. I will be contacting corporate about this experience.

I had big expectations coming to this place.. seasonings and home cooked hot meals full of flavor! Wrong! The only thing that tasted good was alligator bites with Cajun ranch. Everything else was bland and we even had to add salt to red beans and rice.. not coming back here again..

It?s not New Orleans, but it?s close enough for MS! A small, inconspicuous restaurant near the coast serving home style creole food that is delicious. I?ve been here a couple of times and am never disappointed with what I?ve ordered. Their shrimp poboy is really the star of the menu so far. Enjoy!
