Best sushi I've ever had!!!! So much better than the restaurant in Los Angeles and well worth the drive. Whatever you've thought was the freshest is wrong. Come here and you'll see the real sashimi taste.

Best Sushi, this side of pond. For true Sushi eaters...and others wanting to try what 's real. Everything Mr. Takemoto makes is better than usual. Using the fresh and highest quality neta (ingredients) allows him to create the best. Recommendation: Anything and Everything. Have Mr. Takemoto serve what he recommends. ;Trust him! ;

The sashimi was excellent. You have to order the tuna with the garlic sauce. It is the best. The atmosphere was fun and friendly which made my visit that much better. I still drive up from San Diego to go eat here a few times a year.

I was speechless and felt so excited when I tried the first piece of sushi at Sushi Koyo (esp. Sea Urchin)!! Have you ever had a piece of sushi which basically ;MELTS ; in you mouth!! If not, you gotta try this! I 've been the Fisherman Market at Tokyo which I thought should be the best sushi place but I should take it back after I tried Mr. Hiro The Funniest and most Talented Chef I 've ever met! Personally, I 'm not a big fan of sushi before but now I’ve learned what authentic excellent sushi is. Thank you HILO! We had a great time on Friday! Trust Me! You are the BEST! I 'll keep referring my friends to you for sure going forward!

For my first time eating at Sushi Koyo, I have to say that the food was delicious. I am an avid sushi eater and have to say that the quality of the fish was very fresh. I got to talking to the sushi chef, Hiro, while I was dining and he told me that he goes to pick his own fish for his sushi. I liked the intimate atmosphere. Talking to the chef has given me new insight to sushi. Once you go eat here, you won’t want to go anywhere else. Sushi Koyo is by far the best in southern California.
