Carvel - Dewitt

I've always loved visiting this restaurant, but a recent experience has changed my perspective. On a Thursday night, which happened to be the day for buy one get one free milkshakes, I headed to the restaurant hoping to purchase several milkshakes for my friends and family. I arrived just 15 minutes before closing time, and as I parked my car and approached the ice cream parlor, the staff abruptly stopped their work, turned off the lights, and locked the door before the official closing time to prevent any more customers from entering.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and tried the Browne batter. I loved the smooth and delicious texture! They also had some ice cream cakes that looked amazing.

The ice cream cake I ordered was fantastic, and the service was prompt as well!

My kids love to try new flavors here. I love to bring them. Cakes and novelties always look great. Generous portions for soft or hard IC.

Always a great experience! I've been enjoying Carvel ice cream since I was a kid! They have all their classics as well as new things I haven't tried! It's a small shop, no stairs, very clean and everyone is just so friendly. It's so easy to start up a conversation! It's very clean and just a great treat for the whole family. My pup Coop did for sure!
