The Lighthouse - Dewey Beach

Wonderful! great menu selection. the crab-fries and the laughter were delicious. service was incredible.

They work a few knicks with the reopening as the coffee machine did not work, but everything was phenomenal! eat, drink, ambiente and this in mind!

We really enjoyed our meal here with a perfect view of the sunset over the bay. the crab cakes were excellent and we also enjoyed a selection of oyster and authentic boardwalkries! the kitchen was very much on a nutritional restriction in our group, which we very much appreciated. the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. the restaurant just opened at the end of our holiday, or we would probably have beaten the way through the whole menu at night. at a distance the best meal we had on our journey! Remember, they are just standing up and running, so when they cut on a few knicks (we don't,) they cut them a little black and have another round of drinks while they are in the view.

Our waitress was very nice, but eating was quite slow to arrive, and as it did, we got the appetizers just a few minutes before our meals. they were very apologetic and gave us a round drink on the house. the food was excellent! the atmosphere was beautiful (view of the sunset,) but it could use a little more green (palm trees or plants). it's a bit strong at this point.

Food, setting, and service were excellent. Crab cakes were among the best I’ve ever had. Only reason why we didn’t give more stars is that much like the entire Dewey Beach community we observed, 100% respect for COVID-19 was not readily apparent. Management was very responsive when we pointed out where enhancements could be made—so we were very appreciative and hopeful that as they summer progresses, they’ll be at the top of their game. But again—the whole Dewey vibe outside of this restaurant as we drove through town was totally dismissive of taking social distancing/masks to prevent potential spread of the virus
