A La Charrue - Dettwiller

We found this restaurant during a river boat through the aisle. It was an easy walk from the canal, and the owners were very charming when we arrived, even if an anonymous member of our group had booked for 8 people at 8pm, instead of 4 people at 8pm, because he thought he was speaking more French than he could actually!!! they were great about it and were wonderful hosts throughout the evening. a husband is the chief and the wife is in front of the house, and they were both charming. food was a typical Alsatian cuisine and the husband is an excellent cook. We had snails, and the torched pie, and a dish of pork and sauerkraut whose husband continues to dream! It's a nice little restaurant in the center of this pretty little village, and we'll definitely go back there. leaving, the same anonymous member of our group forgot his sunglasses on prescription, and we were halfway to the river boat when the charming owner climbed on her bike with her glasses ... well beyond the call of duty, and very appreciated. We had a big riesling and white pinot, a good evening, thank you!

Excellent restaurant: the bosses are adorable and the delicious cuisine. We had fun.

Do you like traditional cuisine? This is where we have to come. cooking as much as many can no longer do in alsace. I am delighted to have discovered this place in the typical setting that we rediscover the region and those values.

Having found nothing on saverne, we explored the surrounding area and here is how we landed by chance of dettwiller. service is pleasant and fast. Our meal was very good with quality meats. The torched pie is very good. I removed a star for excess pepper on the steak and salad that was swimming in the dressing. We recommend this restaurant.
