Which Wich Superior Subs - Detroit

Mariah took my order and delivered exactly what I asked for. The complimentary side dishes allowed me to load up my sandwich, making it incredibly delicious. The service was quick and precise, and I even received a voucher for my next visit. The restaurant was exceptionally clean. Unfortunately, I am disappointed to hear that the downtown location has closed.

Today, we visited The Wich for the first time with our granddaughters, one of whom has severe milk and egg allergies. The cashier, Andrew, was extremely helpful in assisting us navigate the menu. When we had specific questions about ingredients, he promptly called for the manager, Steven Price. Steven was able to address all our inquiries, obtained allergy and ingredient information, and personally prepared the sandwich to prevent any cross-contamination. The service was excellent and the sandwiches were delectable!

I have to confess; I went to a different sandwich shop for the second time when Jimmy John's was closed, and I absolutely loved it. It was 9:00 and I was walking on Griswald Street when I stumbled upon Wich. I saw that they were open and decided to go in. The aroma of fresh sandwich bread immediately made me reach for my wallet, although I was not in a rush, so I didn't mind waiting for my personalized order until the lady at the counter kindly asked me to turn around and pick up the correct bag to fill out my order. I ordered a crab sub with my favorite toppings. The woman who took my order was professional and friendly. After I paid, I waited a few minutes for my sandwich. The shop was clean and the music was not too loud. Once I received my sandwich and grabbed my drink, I sat down and bit into the sandwich. Oh, my goodness! The sandwich was incredibly tasty, although I felt that for the price and regular size I chose, it could have been a bit bigger. I saved the other half for later and wished I had ordered another sandwich when I got home to finish it. If I find myself back in Downtown Detroit, I will definitely stop by Wich again!

Your GF options are quite limited, but the staff is very friendly and very understanding of requests for special preparation instructions. Taste the super food packaging I had was superb and I look forward to finding places closer to my home. Note that they do not have a toilet in the restaurant.

I recommend the Italian sub. We went during off-peak hours and enjoyed a quick meal.
