The Old Shillelagh - Detroit

A crispy bar in the heart of the city. 3 days, including the roof terrace, which is heated and enclosed in the winter months. a mixture of younger and older people and good drinks. not the cleanest place in the world, but has great music and good food in the regular. if they want to go down at night, they expect a cover. it is never really packed unless there is a holiday or a game in the city.

I love this place! vegan offers with vegan ranch and vegan mushroom gouda burger. best bar food for vegan!

I'm pulling the CHEF tools! it is difficult to find a VEGAN menu/restaurant. if I find one, it is in the same burger and salate. they have a VEGAN menu and it has shepards pie, chili chz fires, bugers, nachos and much more. it wasn't just good, it was spectacular. waaaaaaay better than I expected. no extra salt and pfeffer necessary?. Here comes the cherry. the service is just as good as those who were! stop them and try the vegan options. ?? (all pictures are vegan)

Manager please read this review!!Margaritas are THE worst ever. Tasted like lime Koolaid. Could not taste Triple Sec or tequila. Complete FAIL to the point of -you’re just joking right??Beer Pretzels were cooked in old dirty grease. Served dark and disgusting. Definitely do not order anything deep fried until they replace the oil..

Some drinks are only available downstairs and we were upstairs. One of us asked for our veg burger with no bun and they both came that way and the bartender caught the error immediately. However when they brought up a bun, they said it wasn't vegan because they had toasted it with butter so it was useless. Also beware you have to pay to park next door which was $15. Our bartender Philly and all the staff were super friendly and efficient.
