Supermercado La Jalisciense - Detroit

Today we went to this restaurant for lunch. We waited at our table for quite some time before anyone came to take our order. After finally placing our order, it took an hour and fifteen minutes for our food to arrive. The waitress kept apologizing for the long wait. During this time, we noticed other customers sending their meals back to the kitchen. When our food did arrive, it was terrible. The sopas were so hard that not even a sharp knife could cut through them, and the steak tacos were tough and not enjoyable. We informed the waitress and another staff member about our dissatisfaction, but they were at a loss for words. It was a horrible experience, especially since it was my husband's birthday and he had chosen this restaurant. We will definitely not be returning.

Take out a $13 item that I could have done for less than a dollar. Total ****!

The food is good I usually just order regular chicken tacos and agua fresca. The service can vary depending on the day and time you go. I recommend going on weekdays instead of weekends. The atmosphere is nice I love the art displayed on the walls.

The food and drinks were delicious, service was attentive, and I love that I can grab a few groceries too.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday after finding long wait times at other places, and I was not disappointed! The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.
