I can't imagine any more disappointing experience. The menu on the website was SIGNIFIKANTLY different than on arrival. Specifically, lower selection restaurants (such as sandwiches and burgers were not available on arrival, and I have specifically this restaurant for meeting my family on the basis of the beautiful selection of the website, as we do not all expensive options. Secondly, we did not get a drink, beer and wine menu when we had set ourselves and when we demanded it (after a long waiting period we got a menu that was on the website, but later we were told it was not available. Very confusing. Thirdly, the service was awfully slow, and the servers were not aware of what was available. For example, a beer my father wanted was not available, plus the confusion over the menu as described above. Violation, three (of six of our entrees came cold. We told the waitress about it and later asked that two of them were removed from the bill that they followed. The third was my own, that was a little cold, and I didn't talk about it, but in retrospect, I should have complained. (I really wanted this dinner to be enjoyed. What I bothered was that the food was cold from the bottom of the plate, which tells me that the food was prefabricated and reheated. I must also point out that there were only three tables in the entire restaurant. There is NO CHANCE that the kitchen was overwhelmed with work. I also have to say that we have repeatedly discovered the smell of marijuana. I wanted to impress about my fierce Detroit-proud mother and dad (89 years young, and my “snobby” Chicagoan woman that our city was not the “SOD”-Same Old Detroit. Epic fail.

My husband and I went to this restaurant when we were here at the hotel. He ordered a meatball pasta dish that came stone cold. I ordered the Kalamar and the rubber bear. The Gumbo states and the menu that there is chicken, sausage, shrimp, and scallops. It came from the most disgusting Brown I've ever seen and stuck on the side of the bowl. It had small spots of chicken and sausage Annette, nothing else. It was strongly salted and cooled. The Kalamari, while he looked good, was so rock-hard that I cracked him and took my spoon. It's literally broken. And I don't mean the fried part I mean. Unfortunately, beer and bread were the best part of the meal and we will certainly not return. There was no discount or refund offered if the employees show the problems. Unfortunately, we had no time to send back and order other food, so we were $50 for a meal we didn't eat.

Unfortunately, the dinner menu has changed that does not include the hamburgers, fries, chicken quesadillas or chicken wings and therefore I will not be back for dinner.

We had a lovely time. Food and service was excellent!!

Ordered drinks. They never came. Dinner took an hour. Still no drinks. Two very large parties and only one waiter for the entire rest of the restaurant. Ended up taking 50% off our bill. Wouldn’t rush back.
