Today was my first time visiting. I loved everything about it. The atmosphere, the food, the service!!! They did not disappoint at all, in any way. The martinis could have been a little strong, but maybe my tolerance is higher. I will definitely be returning. Daisha was my waitress and did an excellent job.Vegetarian options: The Buffalo cauliflower was a great vegetarian option!

I 'm always excited to find local businesses to support. Unfortunately, this turned into a one and done for me.Positives The vibe inside feels upbeat when you walk in the door. First thought was I had found a small gem in the community. The food was tasty even though the cocktails were extremely weak.Negatives The prices on their website are different from the prices on their printed menus. We had to ask for silverware. We also had to ask several times for salt and pepper. By the time we received it, the food was cold. I question the 20% service fee . When we received the bill, we were told the tip was included. What exactly is it 20% of?? My bill was $44. Twenty percent of $44 is $8.80 not the $9.33 I was charged. This also meant the taxes were higher.

Great restaurant!!! Hands down THE best food in Detroit!! The flavors are uniquely blended, the service is professional, personable. Grits and salmon, chicken and waffles, home potatoes…all excellent!!! As well as the cocktails that are beautiful in appearance and flavor. You WILL order a to go order, you won’t be able to help yourself. Headed back this week again with a different set of friends to spread the joy. The Ivy is superb!!!! Did I mention I drive an hour and it was worth every mile!!!

I'm thrilled to have discovered this hidden gem! The food was incredibly creative and packed with flavor. Every staff member was exceptionally hospitable and made us feel right at home. The cocktails were enjoyable, but they were a bit watered down and weaker than I'd hoped. I'm definitely returning for the wonton tacos. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the drinks and the fact that they add a 20% service charge on top of your subtotal. I'm generally not a fan of this new trend, and it can end up costing more than anticipated since it exceeds 20% of your subtotal.
