Fishbone's - Detroit

Food was so so. Service was terrible. The waitress rolled her eyes and made faces when we asked questions. Basically threw the bread basket on the table and took off. Was absent for the most part after the food showed up. Forget about getting refills or second drinks. Forget about the server even checking to see if the food is OK. One person was was finished eating before we got the sauce that was supposed to come on the mediocre $22 po' boy sandwich. I guess that's what you get when there is a guaranteed gratuity on every check. Won't be back.

Place its a SCAM!! Stay away from it. Super over priced. Quality and quantity very poor. Wont comeback

Accepts reservations through OpenTable but do not honor reservations. Made reservations online (Open Table) two weeks in advance but when we arrived we were promptly told to move to the side as there was a 20-40 minute wait. Tried twice to give my name and tell them we had reservations only to be told, we don 't care and to move to the side. Once seated, the wait staff was very friendly. Food was OK. Not great, and for the price I hoped for better.

I made a reservation in advance knowing it was a busy night in Detroit with the tigers playing and concert at ford field. We arrived on time to our reservation and were told “their kitchen crashed” and we would have to wait at least an hour. And no we weren't allowed to wait inside or at the bar or get a drink. We walked to several other restaurants nearby who were at capacity due to how busy the city was that night and were not able to find one for dinner prior to our event. Very disappointing and we won't be going back to Fishbones.

We had a reservation, when we got there they were slammed in the kitchen and they told us it would be an hour. We asked to just have a drink at the bar, when we got to the bar the bartender offered us to just eat here....the host told us we could not eat at the bar, mixed messages for sure. Kitchen was slow but was a better option than just turning us away!
