Cadieux Cafe - Detroit

Ok here’s the deal. The food is great. The feather bowling is so fun. The service is ABYSMAL. Like, I don’t even know what’s going on. Hire more people? Do some training? My group waited an hour after ordering to get food, the waitress stopped by exactly zero times so we could order more drinks, the cook had to come out so we could get missing pieces of our order. I don’t care how good the food is, I would not eat here again.

Stopped into @cadieuxcafe for an early dinner today. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly, crispy and not oily batter, wonderfully flaky, the tartar was delicious, and the filets were a good size. 8.6/10. The Cole slaw was unique, we couldn’t place the taste but we loved it. 9/10. The fries were good, albeit a little too salted for my taste, paired with their house dipping sauces. The garlic mayo was my favorite, followed by the horseradish mayo, then the spicy. All good and unique flavors. Next was the wing appetizer. A unique sauce, sweet with a slight hint of spice. Would love a spicer option but they were delicious. The ranch was super thick, perfect for my taste and the blue cheese was a nice accompaniment as well. The onion rings are last up, nice thick cut onions, again cooked perfectly without being oily. Very good. Both apps were a solid 8/10. The service was great and the place has a great vibe. We will return. Overall 8.5/10.

Good mix of authentic Belgian food with American. Fabulous selection of Belgian style beers. Don't skip on the feather bowling!

A truly unique music venue and bar. It's the best dive bar on this side of Detroit and with some killer music. Every night is a party, this is a must see if you love great music, food and cheap drinks.

Staple of local music, good food and accommodating staff. Definitely recommended. The Cod is probably the best I've had. I took a picture for you.Gonna try the mussels next time.
