Anthology Coffee - Detroit

What a great little hidden gem in Detroit! Stopped here before heading to Dyno gym. I had a chai latte which was the best I’ve ever had. My son had a regular Latte and was really pleased with the flavor. We also brought home some of their Onda soda which was a very unique and delicious flavored sparkling water. The employee was awesome and service was quick. Patio was a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy. Don’t miss this place!

As soon as I walked into Anthology, it was made very clear to me that the staff and management were not welcoming to me and my family. This place actively excludes and is inhospitable, something that should be unacceptable in a vibrant city like Detroit. We go to Eastern Market every weekend with our kids and often bring friends and family. We will not come back here and patronize.

The vibes of this place are off : The baristas are unnecessary rude and short for literally no reason? I try to support local but not when they are literally RUDE! You don’t have to be the nicest people in the world, but maybe at least not literally rude for no reason.

The batista was super helpful, kind knowledgeable. Will be back! Love the open, organic atmosphere.. the real plants are an awesome touch. I appreciate that the flavor comes from the roast itsself not by use of syrups

I wasn't impressed by the space the service or the coffee. We went in the afternoon and they had few decaf options, and seemed unhappy to accommodate. The coffee itself was nothing special.
