Pam Dale's - Destrehan

It was fantastic! the prices corresponded to other places, but eating at this rather undescribed place was great. well seasoned fried seafood plates, with mais balls, okra, garnel, welse, oysters, filled cockroaches (my friends had the soft shell crabs) and kartoffels (they had fried, I had baked). large portions, homemade tartaric acid sauce, free evening salate (with a ei.) everything well and highly recommended! rjt

That was incredible! We are from Mississippi, so we are familiar with southern cuisine and that was exceptional! The service was outstanding and surprisingly quick for a Friday night! We will definitely be returning!

My family and I stumbled upon this charming restaurant in front of Destrehan and were unsure of what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious boiled crab we ordered, as well as the popcorn shrimp and hamburger that my son and wife enjoyed. The bill was surprisingly affordable and the service was excellent. We even had the opportunity to meet one of the owners. Despite living in Iowa, I make a point to visit Destrehan twice a year just so I can dine at Pam Dale's. Their family-run restaurant has set a high standard, and I look forward to visiting on every trip to Destrehan in the future.

This restaurant is excellent with generous portions and very friendly staff. You definitely won't leave hungry.
