The Red Door Saloon - Destin

I absolutely adore this place! Many of us locals enjoy spending time here, and tourists are always welcomed with open arms. The bartenders are fantastic, and the food I've tried has been delicious. The view is breathtaking, and there's often a lovely breeze!

The $2 beers were incredible! The view of the harbor and boats was nice, though it had a slight obstruction. Being elevated with a lovely breeze made it even better. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I highly recommend it. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and the food looked amazing. We will definitely be returning!

This is always a great spot to relax. The staff is fantastic, and the drinks are served ice-cold!

A great local bar during the day, and a heavy tourist military bar at night. This is where I would start my nights on the weekend as a single man. Solid bar crew, pricing food. If you?re from out of town, this is one of the 3 places in town (thatI know of) that is most likely to catch a fake ID as the door guys take their job seriously! (Good thing) The main bar istechnically outside but most of it is covered and it overlooks Boathouse. Nice patio spaces. A smaller indoor bar with a fewarcade games. The bathrooms though are tiny and very difficult to keep maintained considering the massive volume of people. Ifyou don?t like shoulder-shoulder packed action, don?t come here when the sun is down on the weekends.

The bar is nice if yoy get inside, but they don't like foreigners. I can go anywhere with my Swedish/International drivers license except here. Go to the Boathouse at the bottom of the hill instead. They have good prices and good people.
