Sundestin Beach Resort By Scenic Stays

Came here for our honeymoon this week and it was amazing! The location, the staff and just the area was amazing. My wife and I are definitely coming back next year again! They treated us so well with 2 champagne glasses to help celebrate our special weekRooms: 4/5

Location was the only positive. condos are aged and need repair. air conditioner was so loud it was difficult to sleep. door to condo was difficult to open and close. oven wouldn’t heat up then it wouldn’t stop heating even after shutting it off. called front desk and they sent the security guard to help. he shut off the power to the condo to reset it and told us to not use the oven. upon arrival the maintenance person was fixing the screen door, he didn’t fix it and left it ripped, so couldn’t use it. left a day early. stay somewhere else.

First trip to FL for me....... Musty and MOLDY!! The company Vacasa was absolutely horrible. Never have we dealt with such uncaring lying people before. Unfortunately we heard this was the case afterwards from a lot of locals. They don't offer you anything comparable, or refunds. My friend is highly allergic to mold and they basically blew us off numerous times. Waited 6 hours in the lobby to check in our room which was ready since nobody stayed the night before. They refused to let us in a minute before but will lock you out of your room before 10 am check out time. Horrible company and they run their business from home with screaming kids in the background. Super unprofessional and Katie was extremely rude on all occasions. All hallway carpets black, and dark. Told us someone would come look at the room, 2 hours later nobody even showed up. Not a good vacation spot to say the least, unless you want to spend endless hours in the lobby, and on the phone going in circles with this company. They tell you you can drop bags at bag check, well ANYONE can come and take your bags. We also had frozen food sitting in the lobby. The only plus was it's on the beach. Whatever you do do NOT book with Vacasa!!Rooms: Missing light bulbs, super outdated. MOLD

Awesome experience! The resort is beautiful, clean and a few steps to the Gulf Mexico. We saw dolphin every day and the water is crystal blue. My favorite part is the early morning coffee in the gift shop. Best gift shop I’ve ever seen! A bonus, walking distance to Chick fila and The Back Porch!Rooms: 5/5

The front desk staff were super friendly, great location, and has a great view. I only have two barks.1. Floors could have been cleaner, my feet were nearly black from walking around inside after a shower.2. The beach chair/umbrella rental is a total racket. Paid $40 for the half day rate , and they nearly folded the umbrella up on me at 5pm on the dot.
