Gulf Coast Burger Company - Destin

My bf and I went in for the first time today. Ordered the All American (classic) Cheeseburger and loaded tots. Delicious! After moving here from Texas a year ago, I?ve longed for a great burger on the beach. Gulf Coast Burger exceeded my expectations! My bf said it was the best loaded tots he?s ever had. We finished it off with an Oreo shake. I saw they had $2 Bud Lights so I can?t wait to come back for that! Friendly staff and clean restrooms too! ????????????????

We had a great time here! The burgers were excellent, as were the shakes! Our server, Halle, did a fantastic job and was very attentive. One of the coolest parts was the robot server that brings you your food. It's a very unique experience. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the burgers they offer!

This review focuses solely on their shakes. We visited on Saturday at 7:30 PM, and the place wasn’t busy. I wouldn’t rate it 5 stars solely for the food, but for the overall experience. The person taking our order was very friendly and accommodating. I believe that positive engagement with the staff can significantly enhance the dining experience. We shared a #3 shake, which included brownies, pretzels, M&Ms, and a toxic flavor. The ice cream was decent, but I have had better. The handcrafted candy artwork is made right on the spot, which does take a bit longer, but there’s plenty to enjoy, making it easy to share.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I went in hoping for a decent burger from this so-called Burger Co., but what I received was clearly a frozen patty. There’s a sign at the bar claiming that they aren't a fast food restaurant and that everything is made fresh, but honestly, even most fast food places serve better burgers than this one. I couldn’t even finish the burger because it was so unappetizing. To make matters worse, they automatically add a tip to the bill, but for what? I had zero human interaction during my visit to this so-called restaurant. I will never return and do not recommend this place.

This charming little restaurant features robots that deliver your food and drinks, making for a unique experience. The food is tasty as well, and the kids absolutely love the robots! The milkshakes were enjoyable, but I felt they were a bit pricey—although that's typical in tourist areas.
