Emerald Grande - Destin

This was our first trip to 10 On The Harbor. Apparently it opened about three months go now July 4th weekend). Used Open Table to get reservations. Spectacular location to watch fireworks from inside on the 4th. We had kids- they sat us at a window table so we were able to see fireworks. Service started slow-but we chalked that up to it being a holiday evening. When waitress finally got there, she was unclear on drinks. When asked about the specials, I left my list in the kitchen. It took forever to get drinks. We eat out a lot. When things go wrong with the servers you know it is likely chaos in the kitchen. Were we surprised when the food came out. My wife had Black Grouper, Blue Crab and I had the Red Snapper. Unbelievable! It was perhaps one of the finest seafood entrees we have ever had. The food, the sides, all of it was done so well....clearly a great chef behind this food. This is clearly a management problem ....training of the wait staff...NOT the cook staff. Maybe they rushed to open for the holiday. If so, put those waiters through 2 a days like in the NFL) until they get it right. Because once they do get a highly trained wait staff...I think they are going to have a 5 star restaurant on their hands. PS: Fireworks were spectacular!

We had a great experience at the restaurant, with delicious food, excellent service, and unbeatable views of Destin harbor. The staff were all very professional, and the gourmet quality of the food was well worth the reasonable prices. We even got to enjoy watching the Poker Run boats parade by as we dined. A perfect 10 out of 10! I shared my satisfaction on Facebook!

During our vacation in Destin, FL, we found ourselves in need of a place to eat. After checking out OpenTable, we decided to try 10 on the Harbor based on the photos and menu. Our waitress, Laura, provided exceptional service. As we made our way to the restaurant, we noticed a lot of traffic heading in that direction, only to discover a fireworks show happening that evening - perfect timing! The restaurant, situated on the second floor with views of the harbor, had a great atmosphere. We enjoyed a perfect view of the fireworks from our table, with the show starting at 9pm. There is also a balcony to step outside and enjoy the view. 10 on the Harbor is a must-visit spot with delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic ambiance. If you go, make sure to request to be seated in Laura's section for a truly wonderful dining experience. Her attention to detail and service are top-notch.

We were on vacation in Destin, FL and didn't know where to grab a bite to eat at. I decided to open my app, OpenTable and on the Harbor was the first restaurant in the list. After looking at the photos and the menu we decided to give it a try. First off our waitress Laura was phenomenal! I dine out a lot and know great service when I see it! Laura definitely has it! While on our way to the restaurant we noticed a bunch of traffic going into the direction of the restaurant. Once we got closer we noticed people were parking and walking across the street might I add. Of course we eventually found out why so many people were heading into that direction and to our surprise it was a firework show happening that night and we were right on time for it! Talk about making our night! The restaurant is located on the second floor overlooking the harbor. Couldn't ask for a better atmosphere! We had the perfect view of the fireworks right from our table. We got seated at and the show started at There is also a balcony to step outside and view them as well. on the Harbor is definitely a hot spot! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! If you go, ask to be seated in Laura's section. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Her attention to detail and service is impeccable!

Well where to start DO NOT try to go from San Destin to the Harbor on Thursday night!! It took hours to get there (left at for reservation) then there was NO PARKING had to valet park across the street at McGuire's. Luckily they were not booked-up so, they held our reservation until But once our order was put in it took mins to get the appetizers and more to get the main course so our planned food was there at just after not all the fault though, but, they were understaffed to serve about of the tables. If you stay anywhere CLOSE GO it is the BEST FOOD EVER!!
