Casual bar with a fantastic view. Sometimes the crowd isn't the best, but if that's your scene, you might enjoy it.

We had an amazing experience here!!! We started out trying to go to The Edge but they were full and were not taking walk-ins. And we were starving so we walked on over to Boathouse and let me tell you.... Best oysters ever! My husband and I decided on 5 different oysters and did a half dozen of each and split them between us. So we had about 30 oysters each and it was roughly $88/$90 for the oysters (which is a great price in my opinion). The best ones in my opinion were the Shell Shockers, Action, and Moe's. My husband loved the Mama Gumbo and Oishii Ollie. And the oysters were not tiny at all. The meat was there! These guys know what they are doing. I will say, the only mistake for us is we brought our daughter who's 5. And she was fine, she enjoyed it. But it's not necessarily a family environment (in my opinion). It was definitely a bar scene. Still enjoyable and great food! But probably not where you wanna bring your kids (depending on their age and personality though, they may enjoy it! Everyone is different). They had a live band who was awesome and played some pretty great music. This place will definitely be somewhere we revisit, just probably without our toddler, haha! Parking: Parking is kind of crammed together for 3-4 different places. It's tight for parking. Not impossible to find but definitely a bit of a challenge. Kid-friendliness: This place was great but truly not a kid environment! Our daughter was fine there and they definitely don't discriminate for kids. But it was extremely loud with the live band and a lot of intoxicated people, haha. Truly a fun place, just think about it before bringing kids! Don't be the person giving a bad review cause your kids had a crappy time!
