Кафе Укроп - Desna

Unbeatable combination of quality and price so far, imho. While in another vegan places you can have 1 dish for 100 UAH, here for the same price you can have 3 dishes and a drink! Every time I come here, I eat like no tomorrow and happy when my daily root crosses Livoberezhna station. Food is good, mostly adaptations of traditional Ukrainian dishes, and more. Lots of choices both savory courses and sweets, and drinks. Some dishes are not vegan, just vegetarian, but mostly vegan. Just double check, staff is very knowledgeable. Quite ambient with lots of round tables by the window, on the 3rd floor of the hotel Tourist, and also here is a good vegan shop. And the best part no need to wait! Food is ready, just microwave if needed.

Amazing place. One of the most tasty vegetarian places in Kyiv. You'll really enjoy just try it out, Buffett style. There is an amazing selection of freshly prepared vegetarian foods. Everything is visible and looks totally delicious. Each item is weighed and paid for collectively at the end so it's amazing value. Don't expect there to be lots of English communication here after all or perhaps English speaking people should learn how to speak Ukrainian or Russian. Having said that the staff are so accommodating if you do speak English and everything will work out just fine. There is an amazing selection of desserts which are cakes and freshly baked pastries. Also slightly healthy nut and fruit balls. You'll also find a wide selection of freshly prepared drinks such as fruit Berry tea and coffees. What is plentiful seating which is adequate for enjoy your meal. It certainly is not a fancy place but rather more laid-back and casual where you can can happily converse with your friends over a incredibly value priced meal. I will totally recommend this place if you are vegetarian or indeed a meat eater you'll have lots of healthy options and choices with a friendly set of staff and waiting tables.

Tasty borsch and broccoli but seitan was a bit sour (doesn't look like fresh one).

Very tasty food. A lot of vegan options. Nice personnel. Quite place, good music. Not expensive at all.
