Contribuiți la feedbackWe have been visiting Colombarino restaurant for 8 years now. The restaurant never ever lets us down. The food is always of the highest standard and the service impeccable. Maybe the best value in a 10 mile radius ? The steaks are special and the wines great value, We usually take half a bottle away which they bag up for you and re cork it for you. Def aigret one to try
We truly enjoyed our stay at Il Colombarino! We are a family of 5 (3 kids under 12 years old , we took the specious 2 story room, with a very large and beautiful balcony. The room was huge and tidy. Breakfast was delicious and dinner wine were even better. We highly recommend to taste the T bone steak! We had the pleasure to enjoy the outstanding service and hospitality of Simona Enrice the hotel representatives who were kind, patient and kids friendly. The Colombarino is only 10 min from the Garda lake with beautiful sight seeing around it. We also traveled to Venice which was an hour and 15 min drive. We will definitely visit again:
Reviewing this as Accommodation and not as Restaurant. Stayed in the Riesling suite (I think). The room was excellent, it was in a duplex style with the bedroom upstairs. The bathroom was clean, big and modern. The downstairs opens out on to a very large balcony, and over looks the vineyards. The country side and vineyard is nice to look out upon and although I wouldnt class it as a 'View ' it was still a relaxing place to spend some time in the evening. Breakfast was ok, we only saw one other person at breakfast and it felt like the place was more interested in getting ready for lunch with the restaurant. I was given a coffee and would of loved a second one but after that there was no staff to be seen again. Also on check in the place was deserted and the cleaner eventually found someone to check us in. Location is lovely quiet area close enough to Sirmione. Only down-point was that this was the priciest agritourism we stayed at on our Northern Italy holiday and after paying so much I was annoyed when I asked after breakfast what time checkout was and they said 10:00am. I had to tell them I needed another while and we checked out closer to 11am. This ruined what should of been a relaxing morning, and for paying top prices for the night and midday checkout should of been in place. To get best value from this place, I think you 'd have to be interested in dining in their restaurant as we felt the restaurant was the top priority and the accommodations although excellent were second priority.
Lovely place in the countryside. Only the place puts you at ease for tranquility, then the food is a beautiful experience to try. You do not eat the usual things....The dishes are cured and simply fantastic
Very beautiful structure, charming from an architectural point of view and beautiful view on the lawn and the vineyards. the atmosphere could perhaps be made a little more enveloping with some candles on the tables. the ahimé service is quite anonymous and cold, although towards other tables I saw more heat. go instead in the kitchen there is a certain margin of improvement. I can't say that I had eaten badly, the fish of the day was good, the meat taken by my husband of good quality and my fish tartare was fresh, but it's all very, too, simple and poor, the contour that accompanies the seconds really arrisicato, disappointing the semifreddo, better definitely the dove cake. in short, maybe from a farm of this level you expect something more, than something that in this dinner is definitely missed.
