Chicago Street Pizza - Des Plaines

I've lived in the area for eight years and only recently decided to try this restaurant. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, but wow! They serve some of the best pizza, burgers, hot dogs, beef sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches around! Their pizza puff is exceptional. The fries are always fresh, and they offer Pepsi products. I can't believe I waited so long to eat here! You definitely need to check this place out. The staff is always friendly, and despite the 70s decor, the place is clean. Plus, the prices are unbeatable!

I discovered this restaurant back in 2005 while working nearby, and I used to stop in for lunch all the time. Unfortunately, I live quite far away now and can only visit occasionally. If you're not worried about calories and love delicious food, this is the perfect spot for you. They offer many classic Chicago beef stand dishes, including Italian beef—my favorite is the cheezy beef. In addition, they serve Italian sausage, burgers, hot dogs, gyros, and pizza. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend trying the cheezy beef!

This is one of my favorite dining spots! My family and I have sampled a wide variety from their menu, including beef dishes, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and cheese fries, and we've never been disappointed. I highly recommend their cheesy beef—it's far superior to many others I've tried. They also offer incredible red velvet cupcakes that are simply delightful. The prices are on par with similar restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly, and the spacious layout means it never feels too crowded, even when it's busy. If you haven't visited this place yet, you definitely should!

I've been visiting this restaurant for years. Even though I’ve moved further away to Wheaton, I still make the drive because their cheese fries are fantastic. I also really enjoy the pizza, fish sandwich, and grilled veggie sandwich, among other items. Everything here is great!
