Thai Flavors - Des Moines

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. I highly recommend trying their Thai dishes, which were delicious. The Japanese cuisine was decent, but some dishes were a bit too saucy. However, the Tom Ga Gai, Papaya Salad, and Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice were the best I've had in Des Moines. I would definitely suggest sticking to the Thai dishes when dining here.

I had high hopes and expectations for this restaurant. I was in Des Moines for work and did some research on authentic Thai food in the area, deciding to give this place a try. The atmosphere was authentic, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. As a Thai person craving for something genuine, I ordered Pad Kaprao in the Thai Style version. However, I found it to be overly sweet, unlike any Pad Kaprao I have ever had before. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration and makes improvements, as I really enjoyed the ambiance and overall experience.

Really great food. Service was poor. Neither the host nor the waiter made eye contact. They whispered everything. Didn’t check back on drinks. Had to ask for the bill. Don’t go there unless you have plenty of time to wait.

Thai flavors never ceases to be awesome! My door dash forgot my roll. I ended up driving there and the staff was so awesome and just super nice and just overly accommodating. They've been my favorite for over 10 years and still are! Thank you!Food: 5/5
