My partner was very impressed with his Guinness and I enjoyed a white wine which comes in a small bottle. We got chatting with the regulars who were very welcoming and friendly.
On visit to Derry to see the walls, we stopped off at the The Grand Central bar with a disabled friend, who had a disability scooter. After a couple of beers we were asked to leave by the bar lady. She said the scooter was blocking her way, although there were 12 kegs of beer on the floor taking up a lot of room. The message was clear, If you are disabled you are not welcome here
A simple classic pub. Friendly staff and a great pint of Guinness I would certainly recommend this bar
If you like old traditional pubs this is a must , no much history inside and a great atmosphere will visit again
Visited the bar with my daughter on a Friday night to experience some Irish hospitality. Very friendly bar, really attractive inside and out. Tried my first Guinness and it was lovely. Would recommend.
