Barrs Traditional Takeaway - Derry

Rang about 6 weeks ago to order pizza and was told they had run out of cheese so couldn't order any, this evening we had family around so i decided to give it another try, first they had no large pizza boxes but kindly offered to cut our pizza up and put into smaller boxes, when I got home my cut up pizza was actually garlic bread and not pizza like I ordered so we ended up with 2 boxes of garlic bread cut up in smaller boxes thank god we ordered chips and dips or we might have looked miserable in front of our family, however food reasonably priced and nice and staff friendly just disappointed paying for pizza and ending up with garlic bread.

Great chippy at a reasonable price. Delivered on time. The food was very tasty and the portions were huge.

What can i say about the food only that is was rotten not worth the 2 hour wait even the drinks where flat it all went straight into the bin wouldn't feed it to my dogs it was that bad

Like many People I have done my rounds of the local chippies especially when I am hungover or too lazy to make something at home. Late last year I had a takeaway from here that left a lot to be desired...However after returning multiple times this year I have to say the food qaulity is now great and unlike many other similar establishments in Derry Barrs can actually cook proper chips (Not rolling in Grease). So if your looking for a nice chippy tea this is the place to go.

The service at this restaurant is excellent. The staff is quick and efficient, always friendly and willing to help with food recommendations.
